NYC Bees chat World Cup, Brentford on BBC Radio London's Total Sport

In the recap of the 2025-26 Premier League season and the prelude to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, NYC Bees Co-Founder Charlie Corr joined Total Sport with Rob Green on BBC Radio London on June 8.

The segment included a nice mix of topics, including the NYC Brentford supporters' group, thoughts on the World Cup starting up stateside, the anticipation of Thiago and other Brentford players heading into the tournament, and much more!

Big thanks for having us on the show. There's a good chance we might join Total Sport again a few weeks into the World Cup for our perspective, so stay tuned!

BBC Radio: Sports World Sunday panel appearance for Brentford v City

Before Brentford's Oct. 5 match against Manchester City, NYC Bees co-founder Charlie Corr joined BBC Radio for a live appearance on the Sports World Sunday panel. This marked our third appearance on this far-reaching pregame show.

The program was hosted by Delyth Lloyd and football reporter George Addo. We covered topics ranging from new manager Keith Andrews, to Thiago and the new-look Bees attack, season predictions and more.

BBC Radio's Sports World Premier League pregame coverage is specifically for the 11:30 a.m. ET (4:30 p.m. GMT) Sunday kickoff slot. If an upcoming Brentford match is moved to this kickoff time/day, there's a good chance we will make a return. That said, if any other Brentford supporters would be interested in participating, we'd be happy to connect you with their producer, who has overseen this show for the past couple seasons now.

BBC Radio appearance: Sportsworld, live on PL season's final day

We made our second appearance on BBC Radio's Sportsworld on Sunday, May 25, before Brentford's season finale at Wolves. NYC Bees Co-Founder Charlie Corr was on a five-minute, live segment to chat about Brentford's small European chances, the club's strong offense, the futures of Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa, and manager Thomas Frank. Sportsworld regularly provides pregame coverage of Sunday's Premier League action, and the show's global audience is approximately 188 million worldwide!

For future reference, the Sportsworld program is available on the BBC World Service feed:

Earlier this season, we took part in a BBC Sports live panel prior to Brentford at Liverpool on Aug. 25, with a discussion led by Nashat Ladha and George Addo.

BBC Radio, Sunday Sportsworld: Live panel for Brentford at Liverpool

Heading into Brentford's Aug. 25 fixture at Liverpool, NYC Bees Co-Founder Charlie Corr appeared live on BBC Radio's Sunday Sportsworld program. The panel discussion, led by Nashat Ladha and football reporter George Addo, covered the latest from the club's play, recent signings and Brentford stateside fandom.

The show's producer said the segment served as a "blueprint" for what the BBC was looking for, so his rave review and positive feedback from the hosts should potentially lead to more BBC Sports opportunities for our group down the road if we have another Sunday primetime slot. Let us know if you're interested in participating!
