CHICAGO -- Valparaiso University sophomore goalkeeper and Eclipse Select Soccer Club alumna Kristen Manski (St. Charles, Ill./St. Charles North High School) posted a flawless weekend in the net en route to two victories.
Manski opened Horizon League play on Friday with a two-save performance during a 1-0 victory over Wisconsin-Green Bay at Eastgate Field in Valparaiso, Ind. Then Manski made two saves during a 4-0 victory over Bowling Green on Sunday in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Manski has posted three straight shutouts, including a three-save, 2-0 victory on Sept. 11 at Eastern Illinois. Valpo also moves two games above .500 for the first time this season with a 5-3-1 mark. This weekend Valpo hosts the Crusader Classic, starting with a Friday match against Campbell.
