Red Stars' DiBernardo named to WPSL Team of Week VI

Chicago Red Stars midfielder/forward Vanessa DiBernardo was named to the Women's Premier Soccer League Team of the Week (for Week 6) on Tuesday.

DiBernardo, the 2010 Big Ten Conference Freshman of the Year, tallied the game-winning goal off of a corner kick to lead the Red Stars to a 2-0 victory over 2010 WPSL National Semifinalists FC Milwaukee last Thursday.
